Working Student Software Development (m/f/d)

You help develop qmBase further: a real B2B product with features customers use every day. Instead of moving from one customer project to the next, you work long term on software for digital quality management and company organization.

Your Role at qmBase

You work closely with our development team, gain insight into our development process and gradually take responsibility for clearly defined topics.

You contribute your own ideas, learn clean product development in practice and receive feedback that helps you grow professionally. If you are available for at least 16 hours per week, this role can fit well alongside your studies.

Your Tasks

  • You develop new features for qmBase and improve existing product areas.
  • You work on interfaces, workflows and technical improvements that our customers use every day.
  • You question existing processes and contribute your own ideas for product improvements.
  • You write unit tests, support code reviews and learn how we build long-lasting software.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • You study computer science, software engineering or a comparable field.
  • You have high quality standards and like to work in a structured way.
  • Ideally, you have initial experience with Git or other version control tools.
  • You communicate confidently in German or English, both written and spoken.
  • You are interested in C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript and database development with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • You want to learn more about MVC, Razor, Entity Framework and responsive SPAs.
  • You use Visual Studio confidently or are willing to get up to speed quickly.
  • You are interested in web software development as well as the conception, design and review of complex web applications.

You do not need to master all technologies listed here already. What matters to us is your interest in clean software development and your willingness to learn.
